Universe

As the first post on this blog (in May 10, 2019), which received the title of “Transparent”, the following photo I took from my apartment’s window, it’s a puddle. Once again, I was glazing the rain that smoothly fell from the 4th floor when I realized the “dance” going on the puddle, with each drop of rain that fell on it. Equipped with my camera and a telephoto lens I took lots of photos and noted that each drop that fell in the puddle shook a brief peace, drawing circles that met and changed in other ways. The black surface of the asphalt provided the perfect background, so that the faint light in a rainy day matched with the water, so the textures and the designs could flourish. It’s a puddle but also, a Universe, with its billions of stars, planets in their orbits and distant galaxies.

This is the last post in 2019. Next January, I’m planning to travel and, as always, I will bring one of my analogue equipment and B&W film. If I get good photos, they will be here soon.
